Well, I’ve done it. After umming and ahing for the last few months about it, I’ve decided to have a go at this whole blogging thing!

My career as a Senior Systems Engineer for a large media organisation gives me a lot of opportunity to see and play with some of the more varied and interesting sides of IT, so I hope that over time I can share some of this in the hope it will be vaguely interesting, and maybe even useful!

Over the last 7 years or so I have been building up my homelab which I use daily to hone my trade, test all sorts of things, and generally learn stuff. I plan to post about my journey so far and hope to learn more in the process.

So, now for the hard part… where to start! I guess I’ll start with my first homelab setup. For next time!
